Microsoft’s Vision for Open Agentic Web
At Build 2025, Microsoft unveiled its vision for an “open agentic web,” introducing a range of new AI tools and significant upgrades.

Key highlights:
GitHub Copilot evolves from a basic coding assistant to a more advanced, asynchronous AI agent. Microsoft has also open-sourced Copilot Chat in Visual Studio Code.
The company introduced Magentic-UI, an open-source research prototype designed for human-in-the-loop web agents, emphasising user control and collaboration.
Azure AI Foundry now includes Grok 3 and Grok 3 Mini models from xAI, giving developers access to a selection of over 1,900 AI models.
A new open project called NLWeb aims to standardise conversational web interfaces—essentially acting as the "HTML of the agentic web."
Copilot has been enhanced with customisation features, enabling organisations to fine-tune models using their own data and supporting multi-agent collaboration for complex business workflows.
OpenAI Unveils Codex: AI Agent for Developers
OpenAI has launched Codex, a cloud-based software engineering agent designed to autonomously manage multiple development tasks at once.

Key details:
Codex is powered by Codex-1, a version of OpenAI’s o3 model specifically fine-tuned for software development.
It runs in secure, isolated cloud environments and is capable of writing new features, fixing bugs, answering questions about the codebase, and running tests.
Developers can provide custom instructions through AGENTS.md files, which guide Codex on how to navigate the code, perform tests, and follow project-specific standards.
Initially, Codex is available to ChatGPT Pro, Enterprise, and Team users, with plans to roll it out under a rate-limited model and offer options for expanded access.
here's a 5 minute CODEX 101 to help you understand WTF it is and why its going to completely disrupt sillicon valley (and the world) - ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A SOLO DEV/TEAM
I'll be making a longer video soon but I just wanted to get this one out since people have been asking 🙏

LLMs Struggle with Multi-Turn Conversations
Both YouTube and Netflix have introduced new AI-powered ad formats, with YouTube launching "Peak Points" to place ads after emotionally charged content, and Netflix planning to use AI-generated ads that blend products into their shows' visuals.

Key Details:
YouTube’s "Peak Points" leverages Gemini AI to analyze videos and serve ads after the most thrilling or emotional moments in the content.
Netflix is developing AI-generated ads that will integrate brand products into show backgrounds, inspired by the programs themselves.
Netflix’s approach will feature midroll ads during viewing and pause ads, with interactive elements and CTAs expected to roll out in late 2025.
